Welcome to the heart of Forster's cultural centre, the Visitor Information Centre, nestled in the vibrant Solaris development and positioned as the gateway to this picturesque lakeside town and the greater region of Manning Valley. Our design for the Visitor Information Centre aims to create a warm and welcoming space for all those eager to explore the beauty of Forster.When working on the masterplan the architects were eager to craft a seamless connection between the Visitor Information Centre, the library and the community spaces, fostering a sense of community and shared knowledge. This symbiotic relationship allows visitors to not only gather practical information but also immerse themselves in the cultural wealth that Forster has to offer.

Step inside, and you'll find a curated space that serves as the first point of contact for visitors, providing a wealth of information about Forster's attractions, activities, and local events. The vision for the interior design of the VIC extends beyond a mere informational hub – it's a testament to the town's spirit, a blend of warm hospitality, cultural richness, and a celebration of local artistry. The design echoes the essence of Forster, drawing inspiration from its scenic lakeside setting, with a palette that reflects the calming hues of water, sky, and natural landscapes..
