The overall approach was to create a stylish and spacious apartment living complex that flowed with the lakeside environment, community recreational areas and spectacular views out over the burgeoning town of Robina and the coastline. The design, with initial input from Ellivo architects was for a two-story podium comprised of loft apartments and communal spaces. Each apartment given a generous outdoor area being raised slightly above the street level. These lofts create a transition in scale and individual street presence whilst providing a solid foundation for the tower above. The residential tower floor plate has been carefully articulated for both the Parnell Boulevard and Lakeside elevations to reduce the apparent bulk of the building and provide elevational variety. The building’s façade provides for a range of apartment balcony setbacks that improve residential privacy and amenity, giving streetscape relief, variety, and a range of building materials and finishes.
Bohème is in a central location, where home, work and recreation are all within close proximity. Functional open plan design seamlessly flows through to entertainment sized balcony’s, taking in the charming vistas of the Gold Coast City skyline or Hinterland. Communal facilities include a stunning saltwater pool and purpose built BBQ, along with its own street level, sidewalk café.
Bohème is a modern and attractively designed twin towers residential living complex with open plan living apartments that are elegant, functional, and inclusive of the surrounding natural and built environment. Exterior elements of glass and timber with a monochromatic scheme and intrinsic privacy for each home is embedded in the design. Quality interior design schemes use natural timber tones in floors and cabinetry with crisp cool stone, white and contrasting features.
